Titans Sign de Kastrozza, Bring Back Pallis

The Trenton Titans are expected to announce today that the team has signed forward David de Kastrozza and re-signed defenseman Derrick Pallis (pictured).

The organization is excited about the addition of de Kastrozza.  A 6-foot-3, 220 pounder de Kastrozza is a local product (Toms River) who earned 21 games with the AHL’s Hershey Bears last season, while splitting the rest of the year with ECHL South Carolina.

de Kastrozza, whose season was cut short due to a knee injury, combined for a career high 32 points between the Bears and Stingrays.  But more than anything else, the 25-year-old provides some much, much needed size to a front ten that badly needs it.

As for Pallis, he joined the Titans at the end of last season after his collegiate career at Princeton University came to an end.  Despite solid play with the Tigers, the 22-year-old struggled at times and posted just one point and a -9 rating in nine games with Trenton.
