The Titans have acquired goaltender Brooks Ostergard from the Kalamazoo Wings, most likely for future considerations.  Ostergard, 25, tweeted early this afternoon from his @Osty35 account: “It’s been a slice Kalamazoo, lets stay in touch. Off to Trenton to be reunited with @CeepDaddy17. The suitcase life continues…”

He said it, I didn’t…but the former Robert Morris University standout has certainly gotten around the ECHL this season, with this marking his fourth different team of the season.  With Kalamazoo, he was simply collecting dust behind ex-Trenton netminder Joel Martin, and had only seen 19 minutes worth of action for them this season.

With Scott Wedgewood having been brutally overworked — tonight will be his 19th appearance in the last 22 games — you’d have to think Ostergard gets a chance on Saturday or Sunday against Reading.
